More NEW WilkinsGRIP Products in Stock

Just got finished updating the WilkinsGRIP in Stock page of my website. I now have almost 50 different types, styles and colors of WilkinsGRIPs in stock and ready to ship. That's a record for me! And quite a lot of product to choose from for you!

First up, a NEW color combo I'm calling 'round Midnight. This is a Blue and Black layered G10 with a very dark blue. On first glance the grips look black, look closer and you see the Blue.

Next up, one I think you'll like: This is Military Olive Green layered with Black. I've machined them the same way I have done several others, so that the dominate color is black, with Olive highlights. A very nice, subdued mix.

Back in Stock:

Orange and Black Layered G10 I now call just plain Lava! This has been a very popular flavor and now it's back!

Also Back in Stock, good old Black G10 with your choice of Spacer: Blood Red, Orange or Black Anodized Alu or, while they last, Toxic Green Acetate!

Weekend Update

Things are starting to roll in the new Workshop!

This week I have been working on a new run of Steampunk V2 BMG X2 grips in a new, updated design. I have had a lot of folks asking about these and I think they will be worth the wait. ETA (hopefully) around 14 days.

I'm also doing a new run of Orange and Black layered G10 BMG minis. I called the first ones Lava Flow but since then I have discovered that name was already used for another material. So from now on, I will just be calling them Lava to avoid confusion ... hopefully that name isn't taken too!

New runs of BMG minis in Coarse Black G10 and Smooth Black G10 are also in progress. I'm thinking of doing some of these with Red G10 Spacers ... does that sound like a good idea? One thing about moving the shop: I had to go through everything getting organized and found a sheet of Coarse Black G10 I had totally forgotten!

I also have a few BMG minis in a very dark Blue and Black Layered G10 on the bench. This is a new color combo for me, so I am looking forward to seeing them myself!

Leafstorm EDC Handmade Folder For Sale!

This is the first Leafstorm Folder I have made in quite a while.

The hand ground blade is CPM S30V Stainless with stonewashed flats and belt-finished hollow grind. The overlay is Fire Anodized Titanium with a distressed, stonewashed finish. Titanium scales are stonewashed matt grey as is the stainless steel clip. Screws are heat colored. Contoured spacer is machined from Coyote G11.

I made this knife as a carry-friendly EDC with the hope that the buyer will get some use out it!

Another New BMG X2! Pale Green G11 Inlays.

Matt Hardcoat Black Alu with Pale Green G11 Inlays on both sides!

I started using this type of industrial, pale green glass fiber plastic for knife scales about 15 years ago because I couldn't find a supplier for colored G10 in Europe. I really liked how it looked back then and I still like it today.

The inlays are precision machined and held in place by 4 black stainless screws. I suggest not attempting to remove the inlays as they are a tight fit. WilkinsGRIP BMG X2 gripset includes a Hardcoat Black Spacer and 13 screws as shown in the pic above.

WilkinsGRIP BMG X2 ClearCoat Anodized

This is a protective anodizing process that adds no color to the natural Alu and is widely used in industry to protect alu parts which will be exposed to the weather. The surface finish looks basically silver ... just like in the photo!

Gripsets delivered with Sky Blue or Blood Red spacers will ship with natural stainless screws, while gripsets with hardcoat Black spacers will ship with black stainless screws.
